Ingredients
For the Peanut Butter Layer
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Chocolate Topping
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
2 tablespoons butter or coconut oil
Optional Garnish
Flaky sea salt
Chopped roasted peanuts
Instructions
Line Your Pan
Line an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.Mix the Peanut Butter Base
In a mixing bowl, stir together peanut butter, melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and thick.Press Into the Pan
Transfer the mixture into your pan and press it firmly into an even layer.Melt the Chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, melt the chocolate chips with butter or coconut oil until smooth.Spread and Smooth
Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter base. Smooth it evenly with a spatula.Chill to Set
Refrigerate the pan for 2–3 hours, or until firm.
Slice and Serve
Use the parchment to lift the bars from the pan. Run a knife under hot water for clean cuts, then slice into squares.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Freeze for up to 2 months with parchment between layers.
