Disneyland Peanut Butter Squares

  • Author: Michonne Zendaya
  • Total Time: ~3 hours
  • Yield: About 16 squares

Ingredients

For the Peanut Butter Layer

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

  • 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Chocolate Topping

  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips

  • 2 tablespoons butter or coconut oil

Optional Garnish

  • Flaky sea salt

  • Chopped roasted peanuts

Instructions

  • Line Your Pan
Line an 8×8 or 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.

  • Mix the Peanut Butter Base
In a mixing bowl, stir together peanut butter, melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and thick.

  • Press Into the Pan
Transfer the mixture into your pan and press it firmly into an even layer.

  • Melt the Chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, melt the chocolate chips with butter or coconut oil until smooth.

  • Spread and Smooth
Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter base. Smooth it evenly with a spatula.

  • Chill to Set
Refrigerate the pan for 2–3 hours, or until firm.

  • Slice and Serve
Use the parchment to lift the bars from the pan. Run a knife under hot water for clean cuts, then slice into squares.
