I was wrong.

For me, food has always been about joy — the kind that happens when you pull something golden and perfect out of the oven, or when someone takes a bite of something you made and their face just lights up.

I started Cook Joy Recipes because I wanted a space where dessert wasn’t the enemy and “healthy” didn’t mean flavorless. A place where you could find a high protein snack recipe on Monday and a holiday dessert showstopper on Friday and feel great about both.

I’m not a pastry chef. I’m a home cook with a serious sweet tooth, a deep love of food photography, and a very patient family who has taste-tested everything on this site.
