Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp milk (optional, if dough is too dry)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Cut in cold butter with a pastry cutter or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Add Greek yogurt and stir just until dough comes together. If too dry, add milk as needed.
  • Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Pat into a 1-inch thick round and cut biscuits with a round cutter.
  • Place biscuits on prepared sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Serve warm with butter, honey, or jam. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 days or refrigerate for up to 5 days. Reheat in the oven to restore freshness.
