Ingredients

powdered sugar, sifted

unsalted butter, softened

peppermint extract

heavy cream

dark chocolate, chopped or chips
Instructions
In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, butter, peppermint extract, and heavy cream until a dough forms.
Roll dough into small balls, then flatten into patties. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 30 minutes.
Melt dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water (or in microwave in intervals).
Dip each frozen peppermint patty into melted chocolate, coating fully. Return to baking sheet.
Chill patties until chocolate sets before serving.
Notes
Store patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 2 months.
