Method
- In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, butter, peppermint extract, and heavy cream until a dough forms.
- Roll dough into small balls, then flatten into patties. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 30 minutes.
- Melt dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water (or in microwave in intervals).
- Dip each frozen peppermint patty into melted chocolate, coating fully. Return to baking sheet.
- Chill patties until chocolate sets before serving.

Store patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 2 months.
