- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Stir in milk and beaten egg until just combined.
- Fold in chopped apples, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and lemon juice.
- Spray a nonstick skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium heat.
- Drop batter by spoonfuls into the skillet and flatten slightly. Cook until golden brown on both sides.
- Remove fritters to a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Best served warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 1–2 days or refrigerate for up to 4 days.
