  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 2 apples, thinly sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 pear, sliced
  • 2 sticks cinnamon sticks
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda (optional, for serving)

Equipment

  • large pitcher
  • cutting board
  • knife
  • measuring cups
  • stirring spoon
  • refrigerator

Method

  1. In a large pitcher, combine white wine, apple cider, and brandy. Stir to mix.
  2. Add sliced apples, orange, pear, and cinnamon sticks to the pitcher. Stir well.
  3. Refrigerate sangria for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to develop.
  4. Serve in glasses over ice. Top with sparkling water if desired.

Notes

Chill sangria for at least 2 hours before serving to let flavors meld. Add sparkling water or club soda just before serving for a fizzy twist. Best enjoyed the same day.
