Ingredients

  • 1 lb store-bought pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups low-moisture mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Equipment

  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper
  • saucepan
  • Pizza Cutter

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll pizza dough into a 12x8-inch rectangle on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Brush half of the garlic butter evenly over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella evenly over the dough, then add Parmesan and Italian seasoning.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until edges are golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from oven and immediately brush with remaining garlic butter.
  8. Slice into 12 breadsticks and serve warm.

Notes

Use low-moisture mozzarella for best melt and leave a small border around the dough to prevent cheese from sliding off. Brush garlic butter both before and after baking for maximum flavor.
