Ingredients
  

  • 6 croissants, cut into chunks
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Arrange croissant chunks evenly in the baking dish and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, and salt until well combined.
  4. Pour custard evenly over croissants and chocolate. Gently press croissants down to absorb liquid.
  5. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until golden and set. Serve warm.

Notes

Best served warm. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat before serving.
