Method
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or place a wire rack on top.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper mixed together.
- Pat pork chops dry. Dredge each chop in flour, then dip into egg, and press firmly into the parmesan breadcrumb mixture.
- Place coated pork chops on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until the coating is golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For maximum crispiness, use freshly grated parmesan and bake the chops on a wire rack set over a baking sheet. Let rest 5 minutes before serving to keep juices locked in.
