- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix together the barbecue sauce, chicken broth, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.

- Shred the chicken with two forks directly in the crockpot and stir it into the sauce.
