Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour, toasted
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup cocoa powder
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread flour on a baking sheet and toast for 5 minutes. Let cool completely.
  • In a bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
  • Mix in cocoa powder, milk, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  • Gradually stir in cooled toasted flour until combined.
  • Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  • Serve immediately with fruit, cookies, or pretzels.

Notes

Toast flour before use to eliminate any bacteria. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
