Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 cups marinara sauce
  • 0.25 cup water or beef broth

Instructions

  • Brown beef with onion in olive oil; drain fat.
  • Add green beans and garlic and cook briefly.
  • Add marinara and seasonings.
  • Simmer covered until beans are tender.
  • Top with parmesan and serve.

Notes

Do not overcook beans. Ground turkey can be substituted. Stores well for meal prep.
