Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 cups marinara sauce
  • 0.25 cup water or beef broth

Equipment

  • Large skillet

Method
 

  1. Brown beef with onion in olive oil; drain fat.
  2. Add green beans and garlic and cook briefly.
  3. Add marinara and seasonings.
  4. Simmer covered until beans are tender.
  5. Top with parmesan and serve.

Notes

Do not overcook beans. Ground turkey can be substituted. Stores well for meal prep.
