Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup rolled oats or breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp dried thyme

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven and prepare baking sheet.
  2. Mix all meatloaf ingredients gently until combined.
  3. Shape into a loaf and bake until cooked through.
  4. Prepare brown gravy on stovetop.
  5. Rest, slice, and serve with gravy.

Notes

Avoid overmixing the meat. Let the meatloaf rest before slicing to keep it intact. Adjust gravy thickness as desired.
