Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup strongly brewed chai tea, cooled
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 1–2 tbsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Method
 

  1. In a blender, combine chai tea, milk, pumpkin puree, sweetener, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla. Blend until smooth and frothy.
  2. Fill two glasses with ice cubes and pour pumpkin chai mixture over the ice.
  3. Stir and serve immediately. Optionally top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin spice.

Notes

For best results, chill the chai tea before mixing. Sweetness can be adjusted with maple syrup, honey, or sugar. This recipe can also be made hot — just warm the milk and chai tea before mixing with pumpkin.
