Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Unroll one package of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the dish to form an even layer.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread mixture over the dough layer.
- Unroll the second crescent dough and carefully place it over the filling.
- Pour melted butter evenly over the top. Mix remaining 1/2 cup sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over butter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Best served chilled or at room temperature. You can also freeze slices individually for up to 2 months.
