Ingredients

  • 2 packages (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar, divided
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Unroll one package of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the dish to form an even layer.
  • In a bowl, beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread mixture over the dough layer.
  • Unroll the second crescent dough and carefully place it over the filling.
  • Pour melted butter evenly over the top. Mix remaining 1/2 cup sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over butter.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Best served chilled or at room temperature. You can also freeze slices individually for up to 2 months.
