Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries, crushed
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs

Method
 

  1. Place freeze-dried strawberries in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin into a mix of powder and small chunks. Set aside half for finishing.
  2. Microwave white chocolate chips and butter in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Stir in vanilla.
  3. Place cereal in a large bowl. Drizzle melted chocolate over the cereal and gently fold until evenly coated.
  4. Fold in half of the crushed strawberries and all of the graham cracker crumbs until evenly distributed.
  5. Transfer mixture to a gallon zip-top bag. Add powdered sugar, seal tightly, and shake until fully coated.
  6. Spread puppy chow on parchment paper to cool for 10 minutes. Toss with remaining crushed strawberries before serving.

Notes

Use freeze-dried strawberries only—fresh fruit adds moisture and will make the snack soggy. Let coated cereal cool fully before adding powdered sugar.
