- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Stir in the corn and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese evenly on top.
- Optional: Add bread crumbs or crushed crackers for a crunchy topping.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, until hot and bubbly with golden cheese on top.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use frozen or canned corn for convenience. Add diced jalapeños or green chilies for a spicy twist. This casserole can be prepared a day in advance and baked just before serving.
